Ravi Chourasiya’s quickfire half century steers Warriors CC to a win in Kushal Prabhu Memorial Trophy’22

Winning the toss, Mulund Knockers opted to bat 1st. In 15 overs, they managed to score 161/8 wickets. The Left Handed Batter, Anil Ronanki was the highest run scorer for Mulund Knockers. He scored 55 runs within 27 balls hitting 2 fours and 5 sixes. Bowlers, Aman Tcsc, Dinar Deshmukh, and Swastik Parab of the Warriors Cricket Club managed to take 2-2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 162 within 15 overs, the openers of the Warriors Cricket Club came in to bat and gave a good start to their team. They scored 46 runs within 4 overs. But it was then when they lost their 1st wicket. Then came Ravi Chaurasia to bat at number three. Ravi Chourasia scored a quickfire 62 runs playing 28 balls. His innings included 9 fours and 2 sixes. As a result, Warriors Cricket Club chased the target within 14.1 overs, with 5 balls remaining.

Ravi Chourasiya said, “This was one of the best innings of my life. The reason behind it is that, not only did I score 50 runs but also I was able to help my team win a cruicial match.” He adds further, “When I went in to bat, I already told everyone that I am going to play aggressively. I had one thing in my mind, that is, I had to be aggressive and play till the end and give my best.” Ravi Chaurasia was selected as the player of the match for his impressive batting performance.
