Shreyash Khilare Creates History with Unbeaten 303, Surpasses Yashasvi Jaiswal’s U-16 Record
Young batting sensation Shreyash Khilare has etched his name in the record books with a sensational unbeaten 303 in the Payyade Trophy MCA Selection Tournament, breaking the previous U-16 record of 275 held by Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Scoring a triple century at such a young age is a remarkable achievement, and surpassing a record previously held by an established Indian international makes the feat even more special. With this innings, Shreyash has made a strong statement about his potential and announced himself as one of the exciting young batting talents to watch out for.
His journey, however, has been built on consistent performances across tournaments. At just 14 years of age, Shreyash showcased his batting abilities in the B Division of the Kanga League, scoring an impressive 84 runs. He also made his mark in the Gujarat Jy Lele U-16 Tournament, where he was recognized with the Best Batter Award.
A significant part of his development has been the guidance of Satish Samant, Head Coach of Sanjeevani Cricket Academy. His contribution has been vital in nurturing Shreyash’s talent and helping him develop the skills and temperament required to perform at the competitive level. The role of a coach in shaping a young cricketer goes beyond technical training, and Samant’s guidance deserves special recognition in Shreyash’s journey.

From making an impression in the Kanga League at 14 to earning recognition in Gujarat and now registering a record-breaking 303*, Shreyash’s progress reflects his hard work, consistency and determination.
While this triple century marks a major milestone in his young career, it could well be the beginning of something much bigger. Shreyash Khilare has broken a record, but more importantly, he has given Mumbai cricket another exciting young talent to look forward to.
