Harsh Mendon’s Five-Fer powers Dadar Union to a win in Chanawala Tournament’22

On April 28, Dadar Union took on Karnatak Sporting Association at Chembur, Mumbai during the Chanawala Tournament. Karnatak Sporting Association won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batting first, Karnatak Sporting Association were bundled out for a paltry 43 in 15.2 overs. Harsh Mendon, who opened the bowling for Dadar Union, wreaked havoc with the ball. Mendon scalped 5-22 in eight overs, including two maidens. He rattled the opposition with his disciplined bowling effort. On the other hand, Sachin Rao (18 runs off 23 balls) was the only batter to score in double digits for Karnatak Sporting Association.

In reply, Dadar Union made light work of the run chase as they completed the formalities in just 6.1 overs, winning the match by eight wickets. Siddanth Singh led the run chase with an unbeaten 17 off 10 balls, including one boundary and a couple of sixes. On the other hand, for Karnatak Sporting Association, Kirtharth Singh and Vignesh Singh chipped in with one wicket each.

Harsh Mendon was the top performer of the match. Mendon powered Dadar Union to an eight-wicket win over Karnatak Sporting Association in the Chanawala Tournament.
