Abeer XI wins the finals of APL Pattem T20 Tournament’22

Played at Oval Maidan in Mumbai, Abeer XI after being put to bat first posted a healthy total on board scoring 203/6 in 20 overs. Opener Sunil Chougle scored 39 runs, all-rounder Gagan Tripathi at no.4 scored 33 runs off 28 balls while it was Bharat Shukla at no.7 smashing a game changing 54* off 20 balls laced with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Bharat and Esrar put on 44 runs in the penultimate last 3 overs taking the team total to 200+

Invictus Cricket Club XI in reply were all out for 114 runs in 17.1 overs. All-Rounder Gagan Tripathi was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/17 in 3 overs while Mani Koundal also bagged 2/8 in 1.1 overs. Abeer XI won the finals by 89 runs becoming the champions of APL Pattem T20 Tournament while Gagan Tripathi for his all round performance was declared ‘man of the match’
