Meet Mayekar’s 134 ball 338 & Amol Patil’s 6/3 propels SVIS into the record books in the ongoing Harris Shield’19

SVIS opting to bat first at Azad Maidan simply dominated the bowlers amassing 761/4 in 39 overs out of which 156 runs were penalty runs. SVIS openers gave a solid start with Krishna Parte scoring 95 runs. Meet Mayekar coming at no.3 ensured the positive momentum was taken care of hitting a magnificent 338 in mere 138 balls. Meet went all guns blazing smashing 56 fours and 7 sixes as he reached his 300 in mere 118 balls. Ishan Roy batting with him gave good support for his 67 runs as SVIS were in commanding position.

In one of the most bizarre incidents which could have been witnessed in cricket, the opposition team of SVIS were all out for 7 runs and even those 7 runs were extracted through extras. In what could be a rarest of the rare event, all the eleven players of Children’s Welfare Andheri team were out on ducks.
