Gupta Claims 4 As Doshi And Sali Secure A 10 Wicket Victory For Don Bosco in Mumbai Indians Tourney

In the ongoing Mumbai Indians Junior Under 16 tournament, Don Bosco High School Matunga locked horn with R.V. Nerker Secondary where the former prevailed convincingly. After winning the toss, R.V Nerker elected to bat first, although this move proved to be disastrous. 

R.V. Nerker were bowled out for just 108 in the 38th over of the match. Shubham Yadav (34 off 76) and wicket keeper Ronak Rajesh Gharat (35 67) contributed crucial runs but it wasn’t enough. Arnav Gupta was the pick of the bowlers who bowled an impressive spell of 8 overs, picking up 4 wickets and giving away just 17 runs in the process. With 2 maidens as well, Gupta bowled at a an economical rate of 2.12. 

Don Bosco batsmen made light work of the target as they chased it down in 12 overs itself without losing a wicket. Openers Varun Doshi (53 off 39) and Soham Avinash Sali (50 off 34) had a blistering partnership of 109, winning the game for Don Bosco by 10 wickets.
