Five wicket haul of Sushant Keni seals the match for Jacobs against Techint in SP Champions League
Jacobs Engineering posted a mammoth 170-8 in 20 overs against Techint at Kamat Ground, Mumbai on 5th March during the SP Champions League Inter-Engineering Consultancy T20 Cricket Tournament. It was a wonderful batting performance from Jacobs, thanks to Amey Kadu (33), Haresh Kshirsagar (26), Prashant (28) and Rakesh Khandare (31). Their useful contributions helped Jacobs put up a big total on board. Saurabh Pandey was the pick of the bowlers picking up 2-23 in four overs.
In reply, Techint was bundled out cheaply for 47 in just 10.2 overs. It was a batting collapse as Sushant Keni picked up a five wicket haul to rattle the Techint’s batting line-up. He finished off with brilliant figures of 5-16 in four overs. Out of the 24 balls that he bowled, Keni did not give away a single run off 18 deliveries. He was on a roll as he helped his team finish off the game in style. Techint lost by a huge margin of 123 runs.
Sushant Keni (5-16 in 4 overs) was declared as the Man of the Match for his match winning bowling display.
