Centurion Ritesh Punyarthi powers Crescent Cricket Club to a win in Kanga League Knockout Tournament’22
On April 10, Crescent Cricket Club took on Indian Dynamite Cricket Club at Matunga Gymkhana during the Kanga League Knockout Tournament. Indian Dynamite Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first.
Indian Dynamite Cricket Club scored 254 in 41.2 overs. Prathamesh Nagotkar top scored with 46 runs off 33 balls. The left handed lower middle order batter belted three boundaries and four sixes. Nitesh Shinde (44 runs off 30 balls) and Shariq Sayed (37 runs off 46 balls) were the other top contributors with the bat. On the other hand, Prathamesh Lodh and Prathamesh Hanjankar picked up two wickets each.
In reply, Crescent Cricket Club chased down the target in just 31.1 overs. Riding on Ritesh Punyarthi’s delectable century, Crescent Cricket Club completed the formalities. Punyarthi plundered a blistering 114 off 77 balls. His innings was embellished with 17 boundaries and four sixes. Samkit Shah too made a useful 51 to steer Crescent Cricket Club to a comfortable win. On the other hand, Indian Dynamite Cricket Club’s, Avinash Pale was the pick of the bowlers. Pale scalped 3-45 in eight overs, opening the bowling.
Ritesh Punyarthi was the top performer of the match. He powered Crescent Cricket Club to a four-wicket win over Indian Dynamite Cricket Club during the Kanga League Knockout Tournament.
