Future general beats piramal by 10 runs in Chanawala t20 tournament’22

On April 9, Future General locked horns against Piramal at Azad Maidan in Mumbai during the Chanawala T20 Tournament. Future General won the toss and elected to bat first.

Riding on opening batter Bhuvan Patil’s delectable 51 off 35 balls, Future General posted a competitive score of 8-169 in 20 overs. Wicket-keeper batter Prashant Khanolkar also made a useful contribution of 48 runs from 38 balls, batting at number three. On the other hand, for Piramal, Rahul Kulkarni was the pick of the bowlers. The left arm spinner scalped 4-21 in four overs.

In reply, Piramal fought hard as they scored 7-159 in 20 overs, as they fell shy of just 10 runs. Girish Rasivate (43 runs off 26 balls) and Gaurang Patel (32 runs off 31 balls) were the top performers with the bat. On the other hand, for Future General, Vivek Yadav wreaked havoc with the ball.  The right arm speedster bagged 4-21 in four overs to rattle the opposition.
