Sanjeevani Academy Cricketers Deliver Match-Winning Performances in MCA Events

The MCA age-group tournaments continue to unearth exciting young talent, and this time, several standout performers from Sanjeevani Cricket Academy made a strong impact across different competitions with match-winning performances under the guidance of coach Satish Samant.

In the prestigious Kalpesh Koli U-16 Tournament, talented left-arm spinner Shreyas Naik produced a superb bowling spell and claimed a memorable five-wicket haul against Churchgate Centre. Using his variations, flight, and control brilliantly, Shreyas kept the batters under pressure throughout the innings and played a major role in his team’s strong performance.

Another exceptional performance in the same tournament came from Tanay Kumar Mahansaria during the clash between Badlapur Centre and Thane Centre. Tanay produced a dominant all-round bowling display by picking up 4 wickets in the first innings followed by another 4 wickets in the second innings, finishing with a remarkable match haul of 8 wickets. His consistency and ability to strike at crucial moments proved to be the turning point of the game.

The success story continued in the U-19 Naren Tamhane Trophy where Kabir Nansi of Goregaon Centre showcased his bowling brilliance against Kandivali Centre. Kabir ripped through the batting lineup with a superb five-wicket haul, once again highlighting the strong bowling culture being developed at Sanjeevani Cricket Academy

In another U-19 Naren Tamhane Trophy encounter between Mumbra Centre and Badlapur Centre, Yuvraj Mali played a magnificent unbeaten knock of 100 runs off 127 balls. Displaying patience, maturity, and excellent shot selection, Yuvraj anchored the innings beautifully and guided his team with a captain’s knock under pressure.

The academy’s dominance was also visible in the U-14 MCA Summer Camp matches where Daniyal Qureshi of Vile Parle Centre delivered a sensational bowling performance against Kandivali Centre. Daniyal’s impressive five-wicket haul helped his side gain the upper hand and reflected his growing confidence as a young cricketer.
