Rugved More bags Best Batsman & Player of the Series Awards in Insurance Shield’22

Rugved More of Automotive Cricket Club had a prolific run in the recently concluded Insurance Shield.  More bagged the best batsman and player of the series awards in the T20 tournament.

On April 19, More muscled 106 runs off just 54 balls against Bank of Maharashtra. He helped his team post 3-199 in 20 overs. His scintillating century powered Automotive Cricket Club to a 122-run win over Bank of Maharashtra. 

Picking up from where he had left, on April 21, More played a 23-ball cameo to plunder an unbeaten 35. Coming in at number three, he smashed four boundaries in his innings against New India A.C. His quick fire knock bolstered Automotive Cricket Club to a competitive score of 3-167 in 20 overs.

After a couple of scintillating performances, More struck a delectable half-century on May 2. He scored 68 runs off 49 balls against Dharamsi Morarji Cricket Club. During his innings, he hit four boundaries and as many sixes. Despite his valiant effort, Automotive Cricket Club ended up on the losing side. They went down by nine runs after scoring 6-145 in 20 overs.

Automotive Cricket Club’s Rugved More had a stupendous outing in the Insurance Shield. The top order batter  scored 209 runs in three matches. He hit one century, one half-century and remained unbeaten in one of the innings.
