Atif Khan’s fifer steers Mulund Challengers to a win in GK Phanse Tournament’22

Mulund Challengers CC opting to bat first at Oval Maidan posted a total of 263/7 in 45 overs. Left Handed Batsman Saiyam Jain at no.4 was the top scorer scoring 68 runs off 97 balls smashing 9 boundaries in it. From the bowlers, Rudra Tank with 2/42 was the pick of the lot.

Defending a total of 264, Mulund Challengers restricted Gamdevi Cricketers to 217 all out in 40.3 overs courtesy a match winning bowling spell from spinner Atif Khan. Atif returned with excellent bowling figures of 5/30 in 9 overs with 2 maidens as Mulund Challengers won the match by 46 runs. Atif Khan who took 5wkts and also scored 46 runs with the bat was declared ‘man of the match’
