Royston’s fiery spell alongwith partnership by Parikshit & Suryakumar seal the chase for Triumph Knights in the T20 Mumbai’19

Shivaji Park Lions batting first were not able to make much of an impact with the bat registering a modest total of 125/9 in 20 overs. There was nothing much to boast about apart from Siddhesh Lad scoring 37 off 42 balls at no.3 while Tamore’s 29 ball 40* at no.6 played a crucial role in team atleast crossing the 120 run mark. Left-arm quickster Royston Dias was simply stunning with the ball returning with excellent bowling figures of 4/26 in 4 overs. The left-arm pacemen who also represents Mumbai Ranji team who had surprised Tendulkar in 2013 with a vicious bouncer in the nets has come a long way since his teens as he was simply spot on with the ball making life difficult for the batsman. Mohit Avasthi (2/29) and Akash Parkar (2/15) were also quite impressive with the ball.

There is no better sight than watching two classy batsmen stitching a partnership and it was exactly the case with Triumph Knights as Parikshit Valsangkar 52* off 48 (3 fours, 2 sixes) and Suryakumar Yadav 56* off 35 (6 fours, 2 sixes) stitched an unbeaten 106* run stand in 77 balls.

Both the right handers smashed some really pleasing shots to the eyes as they sealed the chase in 15.4 overs winning the match by 8 wkts.
