Meet the Man behind Mumbai Cricket Club – Jwala Singh
Every budding cricketer hopes to make it big. Especially so when they are recognised of their talent and performances, Here’s Mr. Jwala Singh who came to Mumbai in 1995 to make a name for himself and to make it big. Speaking to Jwala Singh who said one needs the burning desire and the will to be there. He did well with his school Shardashram and also with Mumbai Junior team. Was also a Part of India Under 17 School team and also had a stint with Tripura Under 22 team. He gave it all for cricket but moving further remained a dream for him. Also gave a try at MRF Pace foundation with a injured shoulder and despite injury gave his best with will power.
Well they say there are some whom we cannot keep them out of the game. Jwala Singh decided to give it back to the game and thus was born Mumbai Cricket Club under Jwala Foundation wherein the purpose was to teach boys who wanted to play cricket in 2002 at Air India ground, Santacruz. But Serious cricket coaching began in 2010 with positive results. Today quite a few players from his academy have gone to represent Mumbai in Ranji trophy and also for Hyderabad Under 19.
Jwala Singh believes in quality and hence only 25 students are taken in a batch. The academy has over 200 boys registered. Jwala Singh also runs this academy with a purpose of giving talented players chance to play with players at bigger level. That’s why the tournament Mitsui Shoji T20 is conducted, which is a ideal platform for these upcoming players.
There are some who give it all for others and for that you need a heart of gold. Jwala Singh is one of them. Its there for the taking at Mumbai Cricket Club where sky is the limit.

Mumbai Cricket Club timings are from 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM from Tuesdays to Fridays. Academy is based at Air India Ground, Kalina, Santacruz, Mumbai.

Realy jwala sir doing good efforts to make good cricketers for india I proud of him because he is also belongs from my city gorakhpur my son is 11 years and keen intrested in cricket but we r so poor we can not afford his fees how can he take the admission in the supervision of jwala sir can it’s dreem com true and he became a good cricketer and play for india
