Jayesh Thakkar’s knock of 42* and disciplined bowling by Total securities ensures easy win against Indusind Bank in Dreamz Trophy

Winning toss is the first important and crucial thing in a match although its not in one’s control. But when the captain calls it right he and his team has to justify the decision. Total Securities  bowlers had a merry time and made first use of the wicket in their match against Indusind Bank on 4th April, 2015 at Government Law and all the 6 bowlers had Indusind bank batsmen on the backfoot right from the word go. Bipin More’s 26 runs and Vishal Tondwalkar’s 19 NO was absolutely not enough to stop an rampaging Total Securities Bowlers. Chetan’s three wickets and two each by Bhavik, Sachin and one by Antony ensured that Total Securities  would not be chasing a huge target. Indusind Bank were stopped at 102 runs.

Jayesh Thakker 42 Not out and Antony Nadar’s  unbeaten 26 made lightwork of  Indusind’s attack with the only exceptional bowling spell by Sushant for his two wickets. Yogesh managed to get one. Total Securities reached the target in 16.2 overs.

Jayesh’s knock made him the Man of the Match, but the match belonged to the bowlers of Total Securities. While most of the teams do generally have good batsman, its  delightful  and pleasing to have a complete bowling unit. Certainly Total Securities have got a balanced side and for the shorter version of the game if you have good bowlers who can make it count, its an icing on the cake.
