Prateek Yadav stars for Tarapur Vidyamandir as they clinch the U16 MCA Inter School Tournament’19

MG Parulekar School Vasai after electing to bat first were bundled out for 132 runs in 28.1 overs at the Sainath Ground Virar.  Off-spinner Adwait Palsule with 4/31 and Aryan Sharma with 3/43 were the pick of the bowlers for their team.

Chasing 133, Prateek Yadav opening the innings anchored the chase scoring a solid 85 off 134 balls laced with 11 boundaries. Prateek despite lacking support from the other end ensured his team crossed the victory line as Tarapur Vidyamandir clinched a win by a narrow margin of 2wkts to win the tournament.

Prateek Yadav has a total of 739 runs in 12 innings at an average of 62.00 this season while he was declared Man of the Series in MCA Inter school tournament for Mumbai Suburban cricket (U16) for 2018-19. He opened the innings for Tarapur Vidya Mandir and scored 396 runs in 5 innings.
