Suhas Nandoskar’s all-round show & Sameer Vengurlekar’s 4wkts steers Our Own Club to a win in the Kanga Knockout Tournament ‘18

Played at the High Court Ground at Oval Maidan between Mandvi Muslim CC and Our Own Club, Mandvi Muslim CC won the toss and elected to bat first as the wicket had some due for both the bowlers as well as the batsman.

However, their decision to bat first fell flat as Mandvi Muslim CC were bundled out for just 93runs all out in 26.5overs. Not a single batsman fired with Suraj Kathore’s 20 being the highest score. Off-spinner Sameer Vengurlekar was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/28 in 9overs. Sameer was impressive with the ball while left arm spinner Sushil Kamble also bowled well taking 3/19 in 6.5overs. All-rounder Suhas Nandoskar also chipped in with 2wkts.

Chasing 94, Our Own Club chased down the score in just 17.2 overs and won the match by 8wkts. Suhas Nandoskar opening the innings scored a match winning 53* off 47balls smashing 7fours in it. Suhas batted really confidently and took on the bowlers with dominance helping Our Own Club clinch a whitewash win.
