MCA Colts batting first on DY Patil Stadium posted a more than decent total of 294/1 in 45 overs. With a shaky start at the top of the order, it was Nikhil Patil at no.4 scoring a quickfire 96 off 64 balls.  Nikhil smashed 13 fours and 5 sixes mostly dealing in boundaries at a commanding strike rate of 150.00 while Shashank Attarde’s (49* off 28 ball) quick cameo down the order further pushed their total towards 300.

Sponsor XI in reply chased down the team total 42.5 overs winning the match by 5 wickets. After losing their experienced opener Kaustub Pawar early, it was opener Sumit Ghadigaonkar stitching a massive 194 run stand for the 1^st wicket with Aashay Sardesai which changed the game for their team. Sumit played the aggressor role smashing a brilliant 105 off just 76 balls (14 fours , 2 sixes) while Aashay Desai who is known for his robust technique displayed elegance en-route his solid 122 off 126 balls (11 fours, 2 sixes).
