Young Guns Ganiga and Balla help Youngs Mens Muslim Association win the MCA Summer Vacation Shield’20

Young Mens Muslim Association after opting to bat first posted a total of 274/9 in 43 overs powered by impressive half centuries by Jash Ganiga and Ayan Pathan. 15 yr old Jash who scored a half century in Kale Cup last week continues to impress this time top scoring with 71 runs off 68 balls (7 fours, 1 six) coming at no.3. Ayan Pathan at no.6 scored a crucial 52 off 47 balls while Vilohit Desai at no.7 also provided a handy cameo remaining unbeaten on 45* off 65 balls (4 fours).

Daiwandya Cricket Club in reply were all out for 131 runs in 39.3 overs thanks to the young spin combination of Nishit Balla and Manan Bhatt. Nishit came up with a spell of 4/12 in 9 overs with 2 maidens while Manan Bhatt took 3/19 in 8 overs which dented Daiwadnya CC’s batting line up.
