Vedant Mayekar’s 71 guides United CC to a win the semis of the U12 Bhaskar Memorial Trophy’19

Navroz CC opting to bat first at Karnatak Sporting Assn. Cross Maidan notched up a total of 129/4 in 23 overs. Opener Varad with 42 runs was the highest scorer while off-spinner Jeet Bhaskar with 2/24 was the pick of the bowlers from United CC.

United CC on the other hand chased down the score with superlative ease thanks to a solid half century by their opener Vedant. Vedant Mayekar scored an aggressive 71 off 54 balls creating a positive momentum right from the very 1^st over while he was assisted well by his opening partner Soham (33runs) as United CC chased down the score in just 21.1 overs winning the match by 9 wkts.

With this win, United CC also qualify for the finals of the tournament.
