Usman Shaikh’s NNCA Emerges victory in U12 Day-Night Cricket Cup

Noorjahan Cricket Academy emerges as the winner of the Under 12 Day-Night Cricket Tournament as they beat Champions Cricket Academy Karjat in the Finals. It was a tournament to remember as many young talents turned up with some memorable performances that they will forever cherish in their life. Aman Yadav is adjudged Player of the Tournament as Utkarsh Upadhyay, Om Gawali and Prathamesh Khandbhor star in the series.

With 470 runs in 6 innings at an average of 117 and a blitzing strike rate of 179, Aman Yadav rightfully deserves the Player of the Tournament. His balance of playing attacking shots without faltering is the key highlight of his game, showcasing a fearless approach. Om Gawali also had a decent knock in the series, scoring 139 runs in just 4 matches with an average of 34 and a strike rate just above 100, while Prathamesh Khandbhor had a brilliant outing in one of the games where he scored a brilliant 85.

With the ball, Utkarsh Upadhyay stole the show with his brilliant performance. In just 6 matches of the tournament, he picked up 12 wickets at an economy of 4.6 with an average of just 9. His ability to pick up wickets along with bowling at an economic rate was one of the reasons NNCA were able to lift the trophy.

Honorable  mention goes to Snehal Shivekar who was a key player for the team, taking an impressive 11 wickets in just 4 matches. Her ability to consistently take wickets while maintaining a low economy rate of 8 runs per over made her a valuable asset to the team’s bowling attack.
