In a one of its kind tournament organized every year by the Kapol Samaj-The Kapol Premier League this year has also been thrilling coming up with some nail biting matches and exciting individual performances. Let’s take a look at some of the good performances so far in the tournament-
In the match between Parajiya Soni United and Khambat Visa Srimali, KVS after being put to bat first at the Old Payyade Ground notched up a competitive total of 197/4 in 20 overs. Khanjan Choksi’s 40 ball 88* at no.4 was entertaining to the eyes which had as many as 9 sixes taking his team to a healthy total.
However, Parajiya openers put up a massive 179 run stand for the 1st wicket thanks to some brilliant onslaught by the Dhakans. Opener Vicky Dhakan went on to score a match winning 90 in mere 43 balls (10 fours, 6 sixes) while his opening partner Prem Dhakan scored an equally impressive 58 off 33 balls (6 fours, 4 sixes) setting up the tone for a easy chase. Parajiya Soni team eventually won the match by 7 wkts and 4.2 overs to spare.

In the match between Halai Lohana Mahajan Mumbai and Parajiya Soni United on 31st March at the Old Payyade Cricket Ground, Parajiya team after opting to bat first scored a massive total of 224/5 in 20 overs which in most of the cases is a match winning total. Vicky Dhakan this time coming at no.3 continued his blazing form scoring a brilliant 80 off just 36 balls (7 fours, 6 sixes). Deven Satikuvar at no.5 played the finishers role for his team scoring an impressive unbeaten 83* off 38 balls (8 fours, 6 sixes)
Halai Lohana Mahajan Mumbai who were at one point needing 148 runs in 72 balls with 7 wkts in hand got back into the game thanks to a match winning partnership by Parth Rughani and Shivam Thakkar.
Parth who is known to be a clean hitter of the ball stayed true to his reputation scoring a flashy 60 off just 26 balls at no.5 while Shivam’s 45 ball 76 at no.4 which had 7 sixes was nothing short of a game changing knock. Both the players-Parth and Shivam rescued their team from jaws of defeat as Halai Lohana chased down the score successfully winning the match by 5 wkts and 5 balls to spare.

In the match between KSG Stars and NVVS, KSG stars after opting to bat first at New Payyade Ground had their openers falling out cheaply but it was the 144 run stand for the 3rd wicket between Umang Sheth and Umang Shah which brought their team back into the game. Umang Shah coming at no.3 scored an anchoring knock of 61 runs in 44 balls while Umang Sheth remained unbeaten on 91* off 48 balls (8 fours, 4 sixes) in what could have been a blazing ton taking the team from 22.2 to 210/5 in 20 overs.
NVVS on the other hand were bundled out for 105 runs as KSG bowlers proved to be too difficult to handle with their spot on bowling helping their team win the match by 104 runs.
