U14 prodigy Paramveer Ghelani blasts a triple hundred with 4wkts in the DK Gaekwad 2day Tournament ‘18
Held at the Alembic-Cricket 1 Ground in Vadodara on 7th of June, it was a match between Yogi C.A and DSCA where in DSCA won the toss and elected bowl first considering the rainy conditions which can make pitch favorable for the bowlers.
Their decision to bowl first was quite spot with Yogi CA getting bundled out for mere 72runs in their 1st innings. All-rounder Paramveer Ghelani with 2/14 and Ashutosh with 2/10 were the pick of the bowlers as they bowled really tight hardly giving any room to the batsman to score runs freely while also taking wickets at regular intervals.
Yogi CA in return were hardly aware on what kind of storm was about to hit them as Paramveer who took 4wkts opened the innings and blasted every bowler for runs. Left-handed Paramveer counter-attacked each and every bowler covering almost every corner of the ground with his adventurous batting as he went on to score a swashbuckling 303* off just 183balls. His opening partner Prithvi also gave good support with a solid 51. Paramveer played at a strike rate of 166.00 and treated a test match like a T20 smashing 48fours and a six in bowler friendly conditions which took his team total to 444/5declare.
Yogi CA were again all out for 113 runs in their 2nd innings with Irfan Shaikh bagging 4wkts as DSCA won the match by an innings and 259runs with a large part of credit going to this talented little genius who is now making headlines in Gujarat and all over!
