The Dark Knight Riders Rule The Night With A Strikers Derby

The 4th day of the Tyrant Premier League Season 5 by WallE Events produced some dominant performances. The team of the night were surely the Dark Knight Riders as they played 3 games and won all of them. Just like the Manchester Derby, the Tyrant Premier League has the Strikers Derby.  The Biloki sponsored event gave some exciting and unforgettable moments;

Royals No Match For The Charged Knight Riders

The Dark Knight Riders started off the night in a dominant fashion winning by a mammoth margin of 61 runs in a 13 over game against the Romil Diamond Royals. Batting first, the Knight Riders hammered the Royals scoring a total of an unchaseable 106 for the loss of just 3 wickets. Opener Chintit Vasantbhai stole the show as he scored 43 off just 36 deliveries with 3 sixes to his name. He was well aided by his opening partner Rahil (32 off 31). With only 5 batsmen batting throughout the innings, it was a dismal bowling performance. Jash Shiroiya was the only bowler to take wickets as one dismissal was a run out.
Chasing a high target of 106, the Royals crumpled under pressure. The team was all out for just 45 runs in the 11th over. A disappointing game for them with the bat as well as the ball. Nisharg was the bowling star by taking 3 wickets in the 8 balls he bowled to finish off the game.
With one wicket to his name and an outstanding innings, Chintit Vora was declared the man of the match.

The Dark Knight Riders Seal Their Second Consecutive Victory Of The Night

The Knight Riders won their second consecutive game of the night in another dominant performance against the Aadi Strikers. Opting to field first, the Strikers produced a subpar outing with the ball allowing the Knight Riders to score 95. Even though they managed to bowl them out, the target was much more than anticipated. After a dreadful beginning, Tarang and Nilay formed a small partnership which allowed the Knight Riders to make a crucial comeback. Coming down the order, Shanay Chokshi faced only 11 deliveries but hit 3 sixes scoring 21. Apart from 1 bowler, everyone purchased a wicket each. Skipper Mittal Shah bowled an economical spell of 7 for 1 in his 2 overs.
The competitive total of 95 seemed far-fetched for the Strikers as they were restricted to 62 only. With no prominent batting partnership and timely fall of wickets, the Strikers were short by 33 runs. Shaival Seth bowled the spell of his life, giving away only 3 runs in 2 overs and also taking 3 wickets. Shintit Vora was the other bowler who impressed as he picked up 2 wickets at an economy of just 3 runs per over.
For his crucial input with the ball and the bat, Nilay was rightfully announced as the Man Of The Match.

Super Strikers Have The Upper Hand In The Strikers Derby

The Strikers Derby was bleak but gave an important victory to the Super Strikers. Aadi Strikers won the toss and opted to bowl first. The bowling unit of the Aadi Strikers did a fine job as they restricted their opponents for just 78. Abhishek Shah picked up 2 wickets with an impressive economy of just 4 runs per over. An average batting performance of the Super Strikers only saw them score at a run rate of 6 per over. Manit Varaiya and Yashesh scored 16 a piece.
With the target being just a run-a-ball, it seemed the Aadi Strikers struggled against the bowling unit. The Super Strikes gave an excellent performance with the ball as they restricted the Super Strikers under 60 to win the game by 19 runs. A game which should’ve belonged to the Aadi Strikers was won by the Super Strikers.
For his immaculate bowling spell and a finishing touch with the bat, Yashesh Parikh was the Man Of The Match in the Strikers Derby.

The Dark Knight Riders Win The Unwinnable

The final game of the night was a low-scoring thriller between the Dark Knight Riders and the Shah Nawabs. The match was dictated completely by the bowlers on either side. Batting first, the weary Dark Knight Riders scored only 55 in 13 overs. Chintit Vasant bhai and Shaival Sheth scored 11 each and Rushabh Parekh scoring one run less. The Shah Nawabs bowling  was top notch as 7 out of 9 bowlers bowled at the economy of 5 or lower. The pick of the bowler’s being, Ankit Shah as he gave away 6 runs in 2 overs and picked up 2 wickets.
With a dominant bowling performance, it was Shah Nawabs’ game to lose. With two wickets falling early, Aagam Doshi contributed 10 runs which in context of the game were crucial runs. But, no other batsman crossed double digits. As the innings came to a close, the Shah Nawabs required only 8 runs in 12 balls with 3 wickets in their hands. It seemed the fate was sealed for, but Knight Rider Rushabh Parekh had other plans. In 5 balls Parekh gave away only 2 runs but purchased all 3 remaining wickets. The Dark Knight Riders finished off their night with a 3 consecutive victory to their name. There were no surprises with the declaration of the Man of The Match as it was Rushabh Parekh.
