Bollywood and Cricket have many common threads, apart from being the two most talked about topics in India. Unequivocally Bollywood is not complete without the terrific three KHANs. Striking a common chord with cricket, Mumbai cricket too is incomplete without the terrific three KHANs.
Naushad Khan, father of Musheer and Sarfaraz, is still an active cricketer in the Mumbai cricket circuit. Playing for Young Mohammedan Cricket Club, Naushad played a useful knock scoring 45 valuable runs for his team against John Bright Cricket Club. He showed his magic with the ball as he picked up a fifer giving away just 17 runs against the same team.
Like their fathers, both sons are doing a wonderful job on the cricket. Sarfaraz has already become a known face as the world has seen his heroics in the IPL. Playing alongside some of the world’s best cricketers like Virat Kohli and Ab De Villiers, Sarfaraz has shone bright for the RCB team.
Younger brother Musheer, 13, who plays for Islam Gymkhana scored a brilliant 78 to help his team set a formidable target of 265 in 70 overs against P.J Hindu Gymkhana.
Just like the three KHANs of Bollywood the three KHANs of Mumbai cricket are indeed a treat to watch.
