Swapnik Waghdhare Hammers 250 off 98 Balls In MI Tournament
Sane Guruji English Medium School Dadar obliterated ST Xaviers High School by a mammoth 252 runs in the ongoing Mumbai Indians Junior U-14. Batting first, Sane Guruji School managed a massive total of 416 for the loss of 9 wickets in 40 overs. The first innings belonged to Swapnik Paresh Waghdhare who hammered an unreal 250 of mere 98 balls. His 2-hour long innings consisted of 30 fours and 15 sixes, total of 45 boundaries with a sparky strike rate of 255. His innings put his team in the commanding position from the get go.
In reply Xaviers could manage only 164 as they were bowled out in the 28th over of the second innings. Swapnil Gollar’s spell of 5/37 in 6 overs made sure Sane Guruji school win by a massive margin.
Swapnik Waghdhare trains under coach Karan Nandey at the KN Academy in Shiavji Park. Coach Nandey was present during his student’s immaculate innings and lauded his effort with the bat.
