For a while, I wondered as to what and how to analyse about this epic battle. The Semi Final clash between Star India and Rave Technology playing at Masters Cup edition 4 at Vengsarkar academy was a match with both sides not willing to see their names on the sorry side. Yes, it turned to be a cliffhanger onMarch 28th, 2015.

Rave Technology chose to bat after winning the toss and posted 165 in 20 overs. Mayur 41 (6 boundaries & 1 six),Manish’s 26 with 2 sixes, Vikrant 24 NO with 2 sixes and Niranjan 16 NO with a six and four ensured their side had enough on the board. Star India bowlers tried their best and R. Naik was the pick with 2 wickets and Manish kumar and Vikrant Kini shared a wicket each.
Rave Technology bowlers gave their team a upper hand in their bowling show and at one stage Star India were 61 for 4. Rave Technology had their nose ahead at this stage. But Star India middle order rose to the occasion. They say good players are the ones who do not take pressure,  they give pressure. Thats what Rajesh Naik did with his knock of 42 NO with 3 boundaries & 1 six.and along with R. Dhotre (37 runs) with 2 boundaries put on 67 runs for the 6th wicket. With B. Singh contributing 23 with 3 hits to the fence, Rave Technology bowlers were not the ones who were going to give up . vikrant with 2 wickets and 1 each by Abhishek, Niranjan, and kunal ensured Star India were not allowed to cross the line. Both teams were hanging at 165. It was heart stopping stuff.

It went to the bowl outs  to decide the winner. And Star Tv held on to their nerves to win in the bowl out by 2 against Rave technologies at 1.

While one can understand what both teams had gone through the day, my hands are still trembling.Salute both the teams.
