Sahil Madgaonkar’s soild 30* knock powered Nanavati to a 26 runs victory against A & G in a round match of the 10th RCF T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup, organized by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited under the auspices of MCA and played at the RCF Colony ground, Chembur on Monday.

Put in to bat, Nanavati had made 149 for 5 in 20 overs. They faced almost little difficulty in negotiating the rival bowling attack and their batsmen, in particular openers, scored runs freely and they amassed a difficult total, and they also produced a 45 run partnership for the first wicket. Sahil Madgaonkar batted through the innings, but made only 30 not out of 22 balls, including a single four and single six. In reply, A & G batsmen surrendered rather meekly and were bowled out a measly 123 in only 18.3 overs, and handed Nanavati a win by a enough margin.

A & G’s one drop 3 bat Larson D’costa batted sincerely in scoring 46 runs but unfortunately received no support from the other batters. Opener Swapnil (19 runs) was the only other batsman managed to offer some resistance and get some runs on the board. They also lost their last five precious wickets at the interval of a single run. They were at 5 for 122 after 17.2 overs. This was the actual turning point of the game. The A & G collapsed from 93 for 3 to 123 all out in pursuit of 150 in 20 overs.
