Deepak Nikam’s (59* off 25b) fireworks down the order steers Spartans to a commanding win in the Shri Barku G Patil T20 League’19

Spartans who were 2/17 and 4/58 at one stage at the All Saints School Ground in Bhiwandi got back into the game thanks to some late cameos by Jaswinder (30 off 19) and Deepak Nikam (59* off 25 balls). Deepak simply took on the bowlers with pure brute and dominated in the twilight part of his team’s innings. An innings laced with 6 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 236.00 which took the team total to 182/5 in 20 overs.

Hinduja team in reply were bundled out for just 94 runs in 15.4 overs with Harshad Jadhav’s 3/7 in 2 overs being the best bowling figures. The rest of the bowlers also bowled tight as Spartans clinched a win by 88 runs while Deepak’s late blitz remained the highlight performance of the match.
