Sizzling Sardar Scalps 7 As MCA B And C Dominate

Day 2 of the U-25 Shatkar Trophy, MCA B and C came out on top convincingly against their counterparts. Rajesh Sardar was the star of day. With an opportunity to bowl first, Sardar ran through the MCA A batters and picked up 7 wickets for just 28 runs. MCA A were bundled up for just 144 and the C team chased it with a minor challenge. 

The other game between MCA B and D was eventful as the former hammered 340 in 50 overs. Siddharth Akre high scored with 71 as Akshat Jain (69) and Divyaansh Saxena (67) notched up crucial runs. Jagtap took 4 but couldn’t restrict the run flow. Pokhre and Chopra’s efforts were in vain as the other batters from MCA B compiled a total of only 64 in all and were bowled out for 165.
