Siddhanth Singh’s gutsy fifty & Harsh mendon’s bowling help Dadar union cc secure a win in MCA U22 Tournament’22

PAYYADE CC won the toss and elected to bat first , the star studded batting line up of payyade cc failed to put up a decent total on the board. Opener Musheer khan (11 runs;8 balls;4’s-2) and Harsh Rane (4 runs;2 balls;4’s-1)departed early. 1 down batsman Gautam waghela played a patient innings from one end ( 52 runs;42 balls;4’s-8;6’s-1) but wickets kept on tumbling from the other end, Harsh Mendon led pace attack of Dadar Union CC &  made sure that opponents have a hard time in between. Harsh Mendon had  an excellent outing bagging 4 wickets for 37 runs from his quota of 8 overs. He was accompanied by Anuj giri ( 3 for 14 from 4.3 overs ) and Praful devkate ( 2 for 29 from 7 overs ). 

 

In reply Dadar union CC too had a bad start and lost initial wickets in quick succession. Dadar union cc were in all sorts of trouble as they were 3 for 40 when Siddhanth Singh came out to bat. With lack of support from the other end Siddhanth played a mature and patient innings of 58 from 98 balls which composed of 3 sixes and 3 fours,he made sure his team achieved the target and won man of the match for his match winning knock
