Sheesh Shetty & Anand Bais’s 228 run middle order stand puts MIG on top in Police Shield’21

MIG Cricket Club after being put to bat first at Youth’s Own Union, Cross Maidan posted a reasonably good total of 261/4 in 70 overs. Despite a sluggish start with scoreboard reading 33/4 at one stage, Sheesh Shetty and in form Anand Bais changed the game stitching 228 runs for the 5th wicket. Left handed Sheesh scored an unbeaten 108* off 137 balls (10 fours, 2 sixes) while Anand Bais scored an unbeaten 102* off 156 balls laced with 4 fours and 3 sixes. For Anand Bais, this is back to back police Shield Century.


PJ Hindu Gymkhana in reply were cleaned up for 102 runs courtesy a disciplined bowling performance from MIG Bowlers. Ankush jaiswal with 3/29 in 11 overs including 4 maidens was the pick of the lot as MIG won the match by 159 runs.
