Santosh Sports Cricket Academy wins the Little Champs Tournament’18 as Aarush smashes a match winning 63

It was the all important finals between Santosh Sports C.A Kalyan and Rising Star Cricket Club (Mira-Bhayender) where in Rising Star CC won the toss and elected to bat first by putting up a big total and imposing pressure on SPCA boys.

Batting first, Rising Star CC boys were not able to make much of an impact as they were 133/all out in 25overs with Raj Menda top scoring with 37 while Darshan Bhanushali and Aryan Tendulkar chipping in with 34 & 21respectively. The bowlers did an excellent job with Pawan Khatri impressing one and all with bowling figures of 4/28 while Aditya Bansod, Risabh Kotai and Aryan Dutt bagging 2wkts each.

Chasing a target of 134 in 150balls, starboy Aarush who has been one of the rising young players from Kalyan continued to impress with a yet another match winning knock of 63runs. Aarush batted confidently while gave proper treatment to the loose deliveries which helped his team a lot. Risabh Kotai who took wickets also chipped in with 18* while Shardul Kanholkar remained unbeaten with 21 as Santosh Sports Cricket Academy chased down the score in mere 18.4 overs.

Santosh Sports Cricket Academy won the match by 9wkts and 6.2 overs to spare in the most dominating fashion on the back of great coaching and collective team perfomance led by Aarush’s brilliant half century.
