Sane’s Efforts In Vain As Gurjar and Mangela Triumph With Sainatch SC

Sainath SC won by a huge margin against the Muslim United SC in the ongoing Purshottam Shield. Batting first Sainath SC hammered a whopping 310 in 45 overs. Umesh Gurjar hammered the bowlers all over the park. Alongside him, Yash Chavan and Makarand Patil also notched up half centuries of their own. Despite of the massive total, two bowlers in particular stood out for Muslim United SC. Tanay Khandeshi picked up 3 wickets giving only 31 runs away while Ruturaj Sane picked up 4/55 in the game.

Mayur Mangela

With a huge score to defend, Sainatch SC were on the attack. After picking up 4, Sane scored an immaculate century to attempt to win the game for Muslim United but unfortunately he was fighting single handedly as they were bowled out for just 242 in 41.3 overs. Mayur Mangela picked up 4 wickets as Sainath SC won by 68 runs.
