Ruparel College shocks the powerful Rizvi winning the semi-finals of the Redbull Intercollege T20 Tournament’19

Ruparel College after being put to bat first managed to muster up 125/7 in 20 overs which is somewhat a modest total. Openers Shivam and Kashish chipped in with 20’s while Manal Kawle remained unbeaten on 27* off 22 balls. From Rizvi, Alpesh, Sidak and Tanush chipped in with 2 wkts each.

Defending a low total, Ruparel bundled out the powerful Rizvi team which consisted many players of Mumbai and Ranji Trophy to just 95 runs in 15.3 overs. Fast bowler and man of the match Rishikesh Jadhav came up with sensational spell of 3/16 in 3 overs with a maiden while Kedar Sardesai came up with 3/16 in 3.3 overs.

RIZVI Team post losing the match were certainly looking disappointed after being defeated by a team which mostly consisted players from the local level.

Ruparel won the semi-finals by39 runs and reach the finals of the tournament.
