Rudra Dhanday century knock rescues Karnataka SA in 72nd Police shield cricket tournament 2019
Mumbai, November 23: Rudra Dhanday’s fighting century effort helped Karnataka Sporting Association score 230 runs before their first innings folded 51.1 overs against Parkophene Cricketers in their Group-A league match on the first day of the two-day match of the 72nd Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament 2019, and played at the Karnataka Sporting Association, Cross Maidan on Saturday.
After being sent in to bat first, Karnataka SA batsmen found the going tough. But, Dhanday stood firm and cracked 126 runs (144 balls, 17×4) to steady the innings and reach a respectable total. Pardeep Sahu 6 for 57 was the key bowler for Parkophene.
