RNCA Outplays Winners Cricket Academy to Become U-15 Champions

Panchgani, CMS GroundRN Cricket Academy (RNCA) delivered an all-round performance to clinch the U-15 Little Champ Cricket Championship title, defeating Winners Cricket Academy in the final.

After winning the toss, Winners Cricket Academy opted to bat first and managed to put up 151 runs in their allotted 30 overs. Despite a decent total, RNCA bowlers ensured they didn’t run away with the game. Leading the attack was Sharav Ramsina, who claimed 4 wickets in 6 overs while conceding only 21 runs. Captain Shourya Oswal complemented him with an impressive spell, taking 3 wickets for just 16 runs in his 6-over quota. Their disciplined bowling effort restricted Winners Cricket Academy from setting a bigger target.

Chasing 152 for victory, RNCA’s batters played with maturity and confidence. Jay Gaonkar led the charge with a crucial 41-run knock, providing the foundation for the successful chase. Skipper Shourya Oswal once again proved his mettle, contributing 25 valuable runs, ensuring his team crossed the line comfortably in 27 overs. With his all-round brilliance, Shourya Oswal was named the Man of the Match for his three-wicket haul and important contribution with the bat.
