Raghuvanshi’s One Man Show Advances Parsee To The Finals Of Police Shield
Parsee Gymkhana qualified to the finals of the Invitational Police Shield by defeating Victory CC convincingly. Batting first, Victory CC managed a total of 272 as they were bowled out in the 68th over. Yash Nahar high scored with 52 as Kaushik Chikhlikar and Jay Bista contributed 47 and 46 respectively, missing out on their half centuries. In reply, Parsee Gymkhana chased down the target without breaking a sweat. India U-19 world cup winner Angkrish Raghuvanshi rose to the occasion by hammering a splendid unbeaten 161, helping his team finish the game in the 54th over itself. Parsee lost just one wicket of Aakarshit Gomel who contributed 63 as well. Kevin D’Almeida was unbeaten with the centurion with 45 runs to finish things off.
