Parsee Gymkhana emerge Champions of 72nd Salarjung T20 Tournament’22

Into the all important finals of the 72nd Salarjung T20 Invitation Tournament played on 27th March.  Islam Gymkhana after being put to bat first posted a total of 144/10 in 19.5 overs.  All-Rounder Shubham Ranjane top scored with 36 runs off 34 balls while Sagar Udeshi with 2/12 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.  Apart from Sagar, Shams and Aqib also bagged two wickets each.

Chasing 145, Parsee Gymkhana crossed the victory line in the 18th over itself wit 7 wkts in hand to win the finals in a commanding manner. Opener Aakarshit Gomel anchored the chase with a brilliant 66* off 47 balls (7 fours, 2 sixes) while Parsee Gymkhana’s Mr.Dependable of  all formats Nikhil Patil played the finishing cameo of 32* off 14 balls to lift the Salarjung Cup.
