Pankaj Singh’s 103* powers BCA Warriors to a win in Mira Bhayandar Challenger League’22
On April 28, BCA Warriors locked horns against BCA Rangers during the Mira Bhayandar Challenger League (MBCL). BCA Rangers won the toss and elected to field at the Bravo Cricket Academy.
Invited to bat, BCA Warriors posted a commanding total of 2-176 in 20 overs. Opening batter Pankaj Singh plundered a blistering century to power his team to a competitive score. Singh smashed 14 boundaries and a six during his blitzkrieg of 103 not out from 67 balls. On the other hand, BCA Rangers’ bowling had no answers to the questions posed by the attacking batting of BCA Warriors. Dhyey Dave and Vedat Pavaskar were the only two wicket-takers as they chipped in with one each.
In reply, BCA Rangers were bowled out cheaply for 86 in 18.1 overs. Opening batter Yuvraj Singh was the lone warrior in the fight as he top scored with a 22-ball 29. On the other hand, BCA Warriors’ Vedant Shetty and Aniket Chaurasia wreaked havoc with the ball as they struck with two wickets apiece.
Pankaj Singh was the top performer in the match. Singh’s century guided BCA Warriors to a 90-run win over BCA Rangers during the Mira Bhayandar Challenger League (MBCL).
