Travel Ex & Tata Capital limited clashed each other for a crucial encounter at the Western Railway Ground (plot no.3) in Mumbai. Travel Ex won the toss on a good bowling track where the boundaries are long to restrict Tata Capital to a low score.

Batting first Tata Capital was successfully restricted to 110/10 in 19.1 overs. Thanks to some wonderful bowling by the Travel Ex bowlers, Tata Capital were not able to post a big total on the board. Apart from their opener Maharudra Sawant who scored a solid 44 off just 37balls, hardly any other batsman were able to cross even 15+ runs which acted as a dent in their innings. Medium pacer Sachin Chaudhary was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/9 in his 2 overs. Sachin bowled really well & was nicely supported by Omkar Maldikar who chipped in with 2/12 with his right arm off-spin.

Chasing 111 was not the toughest of tasks for the opposition as they won the match by 7wkts. Opener Deepak Pari batted well for his 40ball45 while Omkar at no.3 chipped in with the bat too scoring a quick 30 off just 19balls while Pramod & Karan finished off the chase remaining unbeaten on 23* & 4*.

Travel Ex won the match comfortably & Omkar won the 3rd consecutive ‘man of the match award’ which shows how good form he is in. With 142runs & 7wkts so far in the last three matches, Omkar certainly seems to be a player to watch out for in the coming matches of the tournament.
