Mumbai begins U14 West Zone on a high on the back of twin fifties by Awais Khan

Mumbai batting first vs Baroda amassed a total of 235/10 in 82.2 overs. Even though not a threatening total but it was certainly a respectable 1^st innings score. Awais Khan top scored for Mumbai hitting an elegant 80 while Aryan Shejule (35), Ayush Mhatre (31) & Sanskar Panaskar (30) provided handy cameos.

Baroda in their 1^st innings found it difficult to get going vs the Mumbai bowlers getting bundled out for 108 runs in 35 overs. Mumbai in the 2^nd innings declared at 161/6 with Awais Khan once again shining for his team hitting a confident 77 making it back to back fifties to begin the domestic season.

Chasing 283, Baroda in their 2^nd innings did look better with scoreboard reading 183/6 at the end of the game’s play with Teerth Bakshi scoring 64 runs. However, it was Mumbai who outclassed Baroda winning the match on 1^st innings lead.
