Mritunjay Thakur’s spectacular 70 fetches JSW steel dolvi a comprehensive win against Crossfuse in T20 Masters Cup (Yellow)’20
T2O MASTERS CUP (YELLOW), 9TH FEBRUARY 2020 IN MUMBAI : JSW steel Dolvi XI VS Crossfuse XI, the match was played at ELF Vengsarkar oval on 9th February. Crossfuse won the toss and elected to BOWL first. The match was organized by One world of sports.
For JSW, opener Mritunjay Thakur blasted the opposition bowling attack and he scored a vital 70 runs off 41 balls. He laid th4e base for a high score. He had some formidable partnerships with Darshan V and Dinesh patil in the top order. Also, Dinesh Patil played a small cameo of 29 runs off 19 balls. The thrust at the end was provided by Rasik Patil who clobbered the leather and scored a brilliant 40 off 13 and they scored 206 runs in 20 overs losing 8 wickets. For Crossfuse, Kunal Patel picked up 3 wickets for 48 runs.
The batting performance was not adequate enough to reach the target despite some promising performance by few batsmen especially by opener Jay Pandya who was nonchalantly middling the ball until dismissed at the score of 53 off 36 balls by Rasik Patil. They were bowled out for 136 runs. The star with the bat, Rasik Patil also impressed everyone with his bowling stats. He picked up a figure of 2-22 in 3 overs.
RESULT- JSW STEEL DOLVO XI WON BY 70 RUNS.
