Mumbai’s rich cricketing history has always been a breeding ground for young talent, and 15-year-old Chinmay Dukhande is quickly emerging as a name to watch. Shortly after, he was also named among the probable players for the Under-14 West Zone League in January 2025.

Representing Nandchhaya Vidya Niketan School, Chinmay has been a standout performer in the prestigious Harris Shield. In one remarkable match against Swami Vivekanand International SSC, he dismantled the opposition by taking 6 wickets for 43 runs in 12 overs. He contributed significantly with the bat in the exact same game, scoring a rapid 34 runs off 24 balls. In another Harris Shield encounter against Bal Gurukul, Kalyan, he returned brilliant figures of 4 wickets for 42 runs. He further highlighted his batting capabilities in the tournament with an excellent 87 runs off 77 balls at Jolly Gymkhana.

Chinmay’s ability to anchor an innings was highlighted during the Jolly Gymkhana Tournament, where he smashed an unbeaten 102 off 82 balls, featuring eight boundaries and two sixes. Whether it is striking 81 not out off 52 balls in the Winter Series in Panchgani or bagging 4 wickets for 12 runs to win Man of the Match in the U-16 CPL One Day Championship, Chinmay consistently steps up as a cornerstone for his team.
