Maulana Azad Club wins 4th KC Sharma Memorial U-19; Samarth Seth hits 91

Riding on Samarth Seth’s quick fire 91 (59 balls, 10×4, 1×6), Maulana Azad Club won the 4th KC Sharma Memorial Under-19 Cricket Tournament by defeating Madras Club by 3 wickets in the final.

Batting first, Madras Club scored 250. Vaibhav Kandpal scored a brilliant 127 for his team. Maulana Azad’s bowlers Gaurav Chaudhary (3/52) and Lakshaye Sharma (2/43) did some good work for their team.

But Samarth’s explosive innings took the match away from the opposition as they chased down the target in just 33 overs. Samarth could not complete his century but was instrumental in his team’s title win.
