Mahalaxmi ARCC Edged Ahead In A Low Scoring Thriller Against Mulund Knockers in The Friendship Trophy

In a low-scoring competition, Mahalaxmi ARCC XI Fair Play Sports successfully defended a subpar total against Mulund Knockers in the Friensdhip Trophy 2023. Mahalaxmi managed just 124 in 20 overs. Opener Nitesh K Rai managed to score 34 off 32 to help his team reach a respectable total. Chintan Gandhi’s 2/17 , Bhautik Shah 2/19 and Suryaprasad’s 2/24 bowled 12 overs together in a captivating fashion. Although a chaseable target, the challenging wicket and charged up Mahalaxi bowlers were about to make the runchase difficult for Mulund Knockers.

As the runchase began, Mulund Knockers lost wickets on a consistent basis. Bhavin Mehta tried his level best with 48 in 44 balls to help his team reach closer to the target but the Mahalaxmi bowler’s had different plans. Ultimately, they managed to defend the total successfully by restricting Mulund Knockers for just 97, Sommath Wagh and Nitin More claimed 2 wickets each and were supported by other bowlers in team to bowl them out.

Nitesh Rai was named as the Man of the Match.
