Madras Club enter last 4 of Hot Weather Tournament; Vineet Kumar shines with both bat and ball

In the QF of 39th Lala Raghuvir Singh Cricket Tournament, Madras Cricket Club defeated Rohtak Road Gymkhana by 64 runs to enter semi-final.

Sent in to bat first after losing the toss, Madras Cricket Club scored 154 runs. Pawan Negi scored 55 and Vineet Kumar contributed with an unbeaten 30. In reply Rohtak Road Gymkhana were shot out for just 90 runs in 25.2 over thereby losing by 64 runs.

Pradeep Sahoo grabbed 4/48 while Vineet captured 2/19 to demolish Rohtak Road Gymkhana’s innings.
