A good all-round bowling performance coupled with Aashu Negi’s sensible batting helped Indian Travelport defeat Laxmi Public School by 5 wickets in the second semi-final of Monsoon Trophy Cricket Tournament. With this win, they are just a step away from the title and will lock horns with DTU XI to determine who will emerge the champion.

Batting first, Laxmi Public School were all out for 117 runs with major contributors being Saransh Sethi (32), Raghav Datta (28) and Ritik Verma (26).  For Travelport, Gaurav, Aashu and Nitin captured a couple of wickets each.

In reply, Indian Travelport chased down the target in 19 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Aashu Negi top scored with 46 runs with Nitin Tomar contributing 26 runs. For Laxmi Public School, Saurav and Raghav sclaped a couple of wickets each.

Aashu Negi was adjudged man of the match for his match winning effort.
