Golden Star Cricket Academy wins the finals of GKP Late Anna Phanse Champions Trophy’21

Boys Cricket Academy after being put to bat first at Dadaji Konddev Stadium managed to score 149/10 in 42.4 overs. Even though most of the players found it difficult to get going, Aditya Rawat at no.3 was the top scorer with 46 runs of 42 balls. From the bowlers, left arm spinner Omkar Karandikar with 3/13 in 9 overs with 3 maidens was the pick of the lot. Apart from him, Karan Patil took 3/32 in 9 overs.

Golden Star Cricket Academy in reply chased down the score successfully winning the finals by 5 wickets. Opener Deepak Kokare top scored with 55 runs off 69 balls (9 fours, 1 six) while skipper Ashutosh Mali at no.4 anchored the chase with an unbeaten 54* off 79 balls (6 fours).
