When such young kids display such solidity, it just goes on to prove that we have a very good stock of cricketing talent in every corner of India.  Experienced cricketer Dinesh Salunkhe who is Harsh’s uncle makes sure cricket runs in the family while on the other hand Vinit Vanikar also impressed a lot with the ball.

In the match played at NationaL CC ground. Batting first, IES scored 175/10 in 42 overs where in the openers could not convert their good starts. Right-handed Harsh Salunkhe who came in at no.4 scored a fluent yet solid looking 95* off just 70balls which included 16boundaries. While the rest of the batting line up crumbled one by one, Harsh looked completely unfazed and confident against the bowlers which helped his team reach a somewhat respectable total. Without his anchoring innings, IES may be all out for a very low total. From the bowling side Mohamad Arbaz was the pick of the bowlers as he took an impressive 4/70 in 19 overs. Chasing 176 should not be a mammoth task, but IES VN Sule bowlers did a really commendable job as they restricted Green Bombay Boys to just 79/all out in 22.5 overs where in Atharva and Aman bowled well taking 3wkts each. IES VN Sule won the match in style and it was definitely Harsh who stood out in the match with his solid batting.

In the other match between Gokuldham and Lakshadham high school at Oval Maidan, Gokuldham won the toss and batted first to make a decent score. They notched up a healthy score of 237/2 where in opener Om Sawant gave a good start with 57 while Khush Jain and Ved Gaggar chipped in with unbeaten 60’s. Defending a nice total of 238, Gokuldham restricted Lakshadham to just 45runs all out where in Vineet Vanikar came up with a match winning bowling spell of 5/16 in 9.4 overs. Vineet bowled with excellent line and length which reaped rewards for him as well as his team as they won the match by a big margin of 192runs.
